Me, having finally realised the value of the advice about stopping digging when in a hole. The hole in question is some 384 cubic feet and demonstrates the strata of the lioneside quite well, although the customary three foot deep layer of rocks is out of view here. I did *not* dig this hole by hand, just squared it up !
