Looking south at the remains of the northern parapet wall of Bridge 408, which just show above the cutting infill. Cosby Hill Farm is to the right, and the M1 to the left. Bridge 409 can just be made out in the far distance. After a couple of hundred feet, the bare earth gives way to grass. The infill slopes back down to track level just before Bridge 409.
