The Great Central Main Line : Gotham Sidings & Branch

Gotham exchange sidings & branch were built to serve the limestone workings in Gotham. The layout consisted of a number of loops along with the actual branch itself which had a level crossing on it (very rare for a GC line).

At present, Gotham is no more than a single track through open space but this is set to change very soon as the entire sidings complex is to be relaid including the signal box. The branch is a trackless embankment divided by a road a little way down. The first 1/2 mile of the branch has recently been purchased by us and will be relaid at some point.
