Bridge 408

SP 5585 9295 - Height 16'9", Span 25'8"

Bridge 408 was a three arch brick built bridge, which carried an occupation road from Cosby Hill Farm over the line. The bridge has been completely backfilled on both sides, and the parapet walls demolished. The only signs of the bridge now are the gate in the fence on the west cutting side top, the concrete bridge over the M1 to the east and the remains of the north parapet wall, which have been uncovered by the passage of earth moving machinery.
